Philanthropy Northwest offers programs and services to help families meet the unique challenges of giving through a family foundation. From small, unstaffed organizations to the largest foundation in the world, family foundations make up the majority of Philanthropy Northwest's members.

Philanthropy Northwest partners with the National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP), to offer members exclusive access to monthly teleconferences.  Use your Philanthropy Northwest web login to access NCFP.

    This is an intensive, interactive seminar on essential skills and strategies in grantmaking. It is offered annually. Please contact Sue Bennett at sbennett@philanthropynw.org for more information.
  • Workshops & Symposiums
    Learning opportunites for grantmakers that address emerging issues in philanthropy and issues unique to family giving.
  • TGP Consulting Services
    Family foundations in transition often work with The Giving Practice consultants who can assist with retreats, strategic plans, evaluation and grantmaking. Philanthropy Northwest members pay a discounted rate for services.
