Please join your foundation colleagues at a Philanthropy Northwest special Member Briefing this Thursday about the efforts underway in Washington state for the federal Race to the Top and other innovation funds available from the Department of Education. We will examine where Washington fits in the Race, the next steps toward making our state more competitive, and the potential roles of philanthropy. The discussion will also include a preview into the other education issues making news in the 2010 legislative session.
