Top three reasons to take the Philanthropy Northwest Express to Semiahmoo:
1) Fun! If you've ever wished for more time to network with your grantmaking colleagues, the PNW Express is a perfect opportunity to meet and catch up with other Philanthropy Northwest members.
2) Economical: At $100 round trip, the PNW Express is the most economical way to travel between Seattle and the conference. We estimate that driving on your own would cost about $150 (mileage reimbursement).
3) Green: By taking the PNW Express, you'll be doing your part to keep 50 cars off the road and cut 315 grams of personal carbon emissions. Motorcoaches emit the least carbon dioxide per passenger mile when compared to other vehicles. Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by an average of 85% per passenger mile for every person who chooses motorcoach travel instead of driving alone. Bellair Charters runs their fleet on low-sulfur diesel fuel and recycle nearly everything they use, including oil, fuel, batteries, filters, antifreeze and scrap metal.
