Please join us for the next Philanthropy Northwest Montana/Wyoming Funders Teleconference, Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The call will address the following topic:
Foundations on the Hill: On this month's call, Philanthropy Northwest members who attended Foundations on the Hill (March 16 - 18) will share what they learned while visiting Montana and Wyoming Congressional representatives, and answer questions about the event. Foundations on the Hill is an annual event that gives grantmakers a chance to meet with members of Congress in Washington, D.C., to discuss the role of philanthropy in addressing critical concerns and advocate on public policy issues affecting foundations and corporate giving programs.
A friendly reminder that you don't need to reside in Montana or Wyoming to join us. The teleconference is open to all grantmakers who are interested in sharing information and building relationships that inspire change in Montana and Wyoming.
2010 Teleconference schedule: April 28, May 26, June 30, August 25, October 27, November 17. (No teleconference scheduled for July, September and December.)
Presenters: Mike Halligan is the executive director of the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation. Daniel Kemmis is the board president of the Northwest Area Foundation.
